Women's Work Call For Submissions Ends - stay tuned!

11 Different Shows - May 7 to 23, 2010

The submission period is now closed for Women's Work, our annual festival and celebration of works created by women: Women’s Work. Each year, we feature the work of women playwrights, poets, musicians, essayists, painters, filmmakers, dancers and photographers from across Tennessee and across the country. Founder and Artistic Director Maryanna Clarke is hard at work on the selection and scheduling, and very shortly we shall announce the lineup for our Fourth Annual Women's Work.

Once again, for three weekends in May (May 7 through May 23), Women’s Work will showcase the talents of creative women, at Nashville’s Z. Alexander Looby Theater. We will present a wide variety of works. This year's lineup is likely to include staged readings, reader’s theater presentations; performance pieces by women; films and documentaries by women; poetry readings; singer/songwriters, choreography/dance; stand-up comics and visual art.
