JumpStart Jog - Donors Needed
We Run, You Fund!
Founder and Artistic Director Maryanna Clarke and husband Chris laced up their running shoes and completed the Tom King Half Marathon on Saturday March 13. It's TWTP's annual JumpStart Jog fundraiser. We did the run, and we ask our friends and supporters to do the funds.
February was the busiest month in the history of Tennessee Women's Theater Project. Besides casting and rehearsing and opening our latest show, Secrets of a Soccer Mom, we presented five performances of Warriors Don't Cry at locations from Gallatin's Palace Theater to Motlow State College in Lynchburg, to HCA corporate HQ in Nashville. And, we're proud to say that the future looks good.
The economy is still wobbly, and arts funding is threatened by cuts in both government and foundations. What are we doing? We are pinching every penny we can, while we continue to do what we're meant to do: bring the best in professional theater to our stage and others; create opportunities for women in professional theater; and bring live theater to new, underserved audiences.
For us, the present is challenging and the future is bright -- please do what you can to help us along the way. We're a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, and your donations are tax deductible.
