Auditions

Tennessee Women's Theater Project announces auditions for our February-March production, the regional premiere of Kathleen Clark's Secrets of a Soccer Mom.

Roles available:
Alison, a woman in her 20s
Lynn, a woman in her 30s
Nancy, a woman in her 40s
The age of the characters is specified in the script. All ethnicities welcome.

Audition dates: January 18 & 19 (callbacks, if needed, January 20)  
Audition time: 5:30 - 7:30 PM

The play: Three engaging women reluctantly take the field in a mothers vs. sons soccer game, intending to let the children win. However, as the game unfolds they become more intent on scoring, and realize that the competition has kindled a desire to recapture their spirit of adventure. Production dates: Opens Friday, February 26 and runs Thursday through Sunday, March 14, with two Sunday and two weekday matinees. We perform at the Z. Alexander Looby Theater, 2301 Rosa L Parks Blvd., Nashville.

Rehearsals will begin February 1. The rehearsal schedule will be locked once the production is cast.

Pay rate:  $12/hour for rehearsal; $425/week during production.

Bring:  head shot and resume. No need to prepare a monologue; expect to read from the script.
